Quality of production

The enterprise adopted clear and rigorous standards for harvesting and subsequent processing to control quality. The enterprise includes several production zones, which also include branch offices of the enterprise in the regions with the rigorous sanitary regulations.

The raw material supplied to the enterprise is primarily tested in the laboratory of the company. Laboratory tests are conducted in accordance with the European standards for product quality assurance and are implemented at all stages of product processing down to the finished product.

Approved by the laboratory technicians, hazelnut is sent to the sorting where it is cleaned out of trash that falls in during nutting. Hazelnut with a specific humidity fits for production. Therefore, hazelnut is dried to the required standard. Hazelnut easily gets spoiled and loses its flavor if remain excessively humid. There are special cameras for storage of dry hazelnuts for maintaining the optimal temperature and humidity levels.

Manual sorting of hazelnuts is still the way to provide the best results. The employees working on sorting-out conveyor remove damaged and spoiled hazelnuts as well as hazelnut shell. Besides, the employees are sorting out hazelnuts after hygienic hand disinfection with alcohol-based solution. Production of food products requires observance of rigid sanitary rules.

It is important to ware special gowns and caps being on the shop floor areas of the factory. A special smooth coating is used for floors in shop floor areas. Such coverage makes disinfection thorough. Cleaning in shop floors is held several times per day in accordance with the schedule.
