BAKFEM enterprise used “ATABABA” kind as a raw material distinguishing with its quality from the ancient time. This kind contains 95% of common hazel nut plantation situated in Zagatala-Sheki area. This area declared a national reserve from 1926 year.

Azerbaijan hazel nut is a trade product when the Great Silky Road passed from Azerbaijan territory. Alongside all history of our country the hazel nut become one of the improved produce of agriculture and exported many European countries. Azerbaijan hazel nut takes place with trust in world market and not fall behind the most quality Turkish hazelnut for its quality.

Nutrition energy of hazel nut.
Azerbaijan hazel nut is growing not using any chemical substance and is considered clean product from ecological point of view. Its composition has high percentage protein, oils, carbohydrates and high energy value.

Hazelnut considered energy source for man – in 100gr hazelnut kernel has 639 kcal and high percentage protein between 16-19%.In kernel contains oil consists of 60±5% oleine glyceride, stearin and palmitin acid. This acid prevent increasing of cholesterol in blood, prevent from blood vessel diseases also is necessary for growing organism. Therefore hazelnut must contain inalienable part of nutrition of child’s, young’s and especially old mans.
The vitamins group B and vitamin E contains inalienable part of heart, muscle and normal function of reproductive system of man. The main peculiarity of Vitamin E is its impeding ability emerging a carcinogen factors in organism. Namely the vitamin E is one of the strong prophylactic methods anti cancer, heart disease and muscle systems.
